Our markets are currently based in London and Newcastle. Our resident market locations in London are Abney Public Hall in Stoke Newington and Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant and Castle.
We are currently holding markets at Tyne Bank Brewery in Newcastle but different events may be elsewhere - watch this space!
HOW DO I APPLY TO BE ON A MARKET?
There is a form to fill out on our Markets page. There you will be able to give us information about your brand and let us know the location you want to do a market at as well as what dates you are interested in joining!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO HEAR BACK FROM YOU?
We aim to get back to you as soon as possible. Don't forget to check out when applications open on social media. If you get in touch about a date we are not currently taking applications for, there may be a delay in our response.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT SUCCESSFUL?
We get a lot of applications come through for each of our markets. This means that it may not be possible to fit you in.
Not getting a market spot does not mean that your brand is bad. It can depend on a few factors. As each market is curated, we try to ensure there are not too many of a style or product. For example, if you make jewellery, you may not have been accepted as we were not able to fit another jewellery brand in! Don't be disheartened, as this may not be the case for future market dates
Unfortunately, due to the number of applications we receive, we are not able to reply if you are not able to join the market date.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR A SPOT AT A MARKET?
Our pricing is different for each location we are in. This is all dependent on the cost to rent the venue etc.
If you are successful and are given a spot on market day, you will receive an email with a full payment breakdown.
WHAT IF I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO MAKE THE MARKET DATE?
As you can imagine, last minute cancellations can put the pressure on us to fill the spot, especially as businesses may need some notice for stock etc.
If you for any reason are no longer able to make the date, please get in touch with us ASAP and we can have a look into it for you
IS IT POSSIBLE TO SHARE A TABLE WITH ANOTHER BRAND?
Of course! If you are keen to have a fellow small business join you on a market day - let us know! Tell us who you want to join you and we can check the brand fits the market before we confirm with you!
I HAVEN'T DONE A MARKET BEFORE AND I AM A LITTLE NERVOUS, DO YOU OFFER ANY SMALL BUSINESS SUPPORT?
Oh babe, I understand completely, it can be so daunting!
I am here to help you in the lead up to the market with any questions you may have. If you are looking for more guidance, I offer 1-2-1 calls with my vendors before the market to help you feel ready and confident for the big day!
I RUN MY BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE ELSE SO IT IS NOT JUST OWNED BY WOMEN, IS THAT OKAY?
Yes! Women Will Create started to help women feel confident in what they were doing. It was never a case of wanting to be female only with no men allowed! The requirement we have is for it to be partially or co run by a woman. We have had brands owned by couples in the past!
CAN I BRING SOMEONE ALONG TO HELP ON MARKET DAY?
Please do! If you need a helping hand then I would say definitely bring someone along. Bring your mum, bring your bestie, bring your boyfriend - whoever!
The first market I ever did IRL I noticed that pretty much every stall holder had their other half - it just showed how supportive they were!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME ON MARKET DAY?
Now, a lot of this comes down to personal preference but I do think there are some basics to bring along or to think about.

CAN I BRING A RAIL OR SOMETHING TO GO ALONGSIDE MY TABLE?
If you want to bring a rail, rack or something to go alongside your table, let me know and I will double check there is space for it. I set up the layout before the day of the market so it will allow me to check there will be space for you
I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN IN THE FUTURE, WHERE CAN I FIND MARKET DATES?
If the dates are not already on the website, it may mean I am waiting for confirmation on dates.
However, I always update my followers and community on Instagram.
